The full range
Name and nursery art, typographic posters, family milestone prints and minimalist line art. Every one made to order, every one sized and finished to your specification.
Range 01
These are the most requested prints in the studio, and the reason is obvious: a child's room without a name on the wall feels unfinished. The name print is the last thing that goes up and the first thing visitors notice.
The studio offers several name print styles. Bold rainbow block lettering suits younger children and brighter rooms. A single-colour condensed sans works in a more neutral nursery. Illustrated alphabet prints (where each letter carries a little picture) work for toddlers who are starting to recognise letters. Birth announcement layouts include the full stats: name, date, weight, length, time of birth, and a short personal line.
Nursery prints are available from A4 up to A1. A4 works above a small shelf or on a pinboard. A2 suits a wall above a changing table. A1 is the centrepiece above the cot. Every size uses the same archival 250gsm stock.
Range 02
A good quote poster earns its wall space because you read it again every time you pass it. The studio produces these in large formats (A1 and A0 are the most popular) because the text needs to be readable from across the room and the letterforms need weight to hold the wall.
The approach is strictly typographic. No clipart, no decorative borders, no cursive loops. The design is made entirely from the words and their arrangement. The studio uses a handful of typefaces: a heavy compressed grotesque for punchy one-liners; a tall condensed sans for longer passages; a geometric sans for something cleaner and more restrained. You tell the studio the text and the general mood, and the layout follows from that.
Popular requests include: a line from a meaningful song or poem, the family motto, a year in big numerals, a place name, a company or team motto, a phrase from a book. Anything that reads well in large type works well on the wall.
Range 03
Some dates are too important to leave as a number in a phone. A wedding date. The day the children were born. The year a family moved into a house and decided it was home. These prints exist to put those dates on the wall and keep them there.
The studio makes several formats for this range. A large-numeral year print (just the four digits, printed very large in a condensed typeface) works in almost any room. A multi-name family tree layout lists every name with a date underneath; these are popular as anniversary gifts and for grandparents' living rooms. A location-and-date layout pairs a meaningful place name with the date something happened there; common choices are a wedding venue, a town where a couple met, a country where a child was born.
These prints work in A4 through A1. The year and numeral prints benefit from A1 or A2. The whole point is that the numbers are large enough to read from the sofa. Multi-name layouts usually work at A3 or A2 where there is enough space to fit the full family without crowding.
Range 04
Not every print needs words. The minimalist range uses single-line drawings — a continuous line portrait, an outline of a meaningful building or place, a clean botanical illustration — as personalised art for rooms where bold typography would be too much.
Single-line portrait prints are the most personal piece in the range. The studio traces from a photograph you provide and produces a portrait in a single unbroken line. The kind that uses just enough strokes to be clearly recognisable but leaves most of the white space empty. These work in rooms where the walls are already busy and you need something that recedes gently while still meaning something.
Architectural line prints work from photographs of buildings — a family home, a wedding venue, a pub where friends met every Friday for twenty years. The drawing is a clean elevation in fine line weight, printed on cream stock. Most people frame these in A4 or A3.
| Size | Dimensions | Best for | Framing |
|---|---|---|---|
| A4 | 210 × 297 mm | Desk prints, gallery wall fillers, smaller nursery shelves | Standard frame available |
| A3 | 297 × 420 mm | Bathroom walls, bedside prints, small bedrooms | Standard frame available |
| A2 | 420 × 594 mm | Nursery focal points, hallways, living room accents | Standard frame available |
| A1 | 594 × 841 mm | Statement living room art, large nursery name prints | Standard frame available |
| A0 | 841 × 1189 mm | Large quote posters, commercial and feature walls | Unframed (tube-rolled) |
All prints use 250gsm acid-free archival smooth or textured stock. Pigment-based inks are used throughout — rated at 100+ years before any visible fading under normal lighting. Prints arrive flat-packed in a rigid board envelope (A4–A2) or tube-rolled in a protective cardboard tube (A1–A0).
Standard box frames are available in black and white for A4 through A1 sizes. Frames are 20mm depth with real glass and an off-white mount. If you order a frame, the print arrives mounted and framed, ready to hang — no additional materials needed. A0 prints are supplied unframed and rolled in a tube.
Digital proof: every personalised order includes a proof sent by email before printing. The studio aims to turn proofs around within one working day. Once the proof is approved, the print typically ships within two working days.
Send the details to the studio (name, date, quote, whatever you want on the wall) and you will get a proof back within a working day.
